The Weepies

Same Changes

by The Weepies
The Weepies

Biography:

The Weepies is an American indie pop-folk duo of married singer-songwriters Deb Talan and Steve Tannen. The duo began making music together in Cambridge, Massachusetts, in 2001.

In 2006, The Weepies big label debut Say I Am You came out on Nettwerk Records. After an initial hard-scrabble tour in their compact car as a duo, Deb Talan & Steve Tannen’s music appeared in more than a dozen TV shows, as well as several major motion pictures.

Their iTunes sales topped the folk charts in eight countries.

You don't even know

You pick me up You pick me up

With two fingers

Careful and with patience

Hold this tender heart
Fsus2 G
Leave a well of tiny threads with two fingers

Standing in the garden

Gathering the dusk
Fsus2 G
We hold the sun and golden one and we linger

Am Fsus2
And everyone says
C G
This love will change you
Am Fsus2
Well I ask
C G
isn't that what love's supposed to do

Am G Fsus2 C
Yeah Yeah Yeah
Fsus2 G
It's same changes
