Laura Marling (born 1st February 1990) is a folk singer/songwriter/guitarist from Eversley, United Kingdom.

She began playing the guitar at the age of five, first being taught the blues by her father in front of the family fire, and has been enthralled by the songs and lyrics of the likes of Neil Young, Bob Dylan, James Taylor and John Mayall ever since. Am Em7 Am
There lies a man of my heart
Em7 Am
A fine and complete work of art
Dm C Am
Here, I his woman, his home, and his heart
Em7 Am
And proud to be playing that part
Em7 Am
And proud to be playing that part

Em7 Am
Rest in the bed of my bones
Em7 Am
All that I want is a home
Dm C Am
And all you can do is promise me bold
Em7 Am Dm
That you won't let me grow dark or cold
Am Em7 Am
As long as we both shall live

Am
The bite will come and shall feel your call
Dm G Am
As a song as I believe in you

Em7 Am
The first hill's the hardest I'm sure
Em7 Am
Where our shadows come to the shore
Dm C Am
Know that it's you and I till the end
Em7 Dm Am
And all I want from life is to hold your hand

Em7 Am
All that I have are these bones
Em7 Am
And all that I want is a home
Dm C Am
And all you can do is promise me bold
Em7 Am Dm
That you won't let me grow dark or cold
Am Em7 Am
As long as we both shall live

Am
The sirens come, they always will
But the dark between my heart and his
Dm G Am
Is as good as a diamond chain

Em7 Am
Rest in the bed of my bones
Em7 Am
All that I want is a home
Dm C Am
And all you can do is promise me bold
Em7 Am Dm
That you won't let me grow dark or cold
Am Em7 Am
As long as we both shall live
