This song is really easy, just basic chords the whole way through

[First part: gentle strumming]

G D
I came down to the breakfast table
C G
felt like I could cry
G D
I tried so hard but wasn't able
C D
to look you in the eye

G D
For I am feeling so much shame
C G
Yes I have brought disgrace
G D
Can tell I've soiled my good name
C D
By the look upon your face

[Strumming picks up it's pace]

G D C D
Well it seems last night you caught me spankin' it
G D C D
No use denyin' it, well I was really crankin' it
G D C D
Well it's not my fault, and it wouldn't be so bad
G D C [pause] G D C D
If you could just forgive me and talk to me, dad
G D C D
Talk to me dad

G D C D
No I didn't hear ya enter, no I didn't hear the door
G D C D
With my hand upon my member and my pants upon the floor
G D C D
Now burnt into your brain is an image you despise
G D C D
like blood and guts and starvin' kids and Stevie Wonder's eyes

G D C D
Well it seems last night you caught me spankin' it
G D C D
No use denyin' it, I was really crankin' it
G D C D
Well dry your eyes and don't be so sad
G D C [pause] G D C D
But I wouldn't use those tissues, they've already been had
G D C D
Talk to me dad

G D C D
Yeah, the look upon your face made my swollen gland diminish
G D C D
So I said, "Could ya close the door? I really wanna finish"
G D C D
Now daddy I'm ashamed and I'd completely understand
G D C D
If you never wanna hug again or even shake my hand

G D C D
Well it seems last night you caught me spankin' it
G D C D
No use denyin' it, well I was really crankin' it
G D C D
Well please calm down and don't get mad
G D C [pause] G D C D
Just because it was your bed, it's not that bad
G D C D
It's not that bad
G D C D
It's not that bad
G D C D
Talk to me dad

G D C D
When I was only seventeen, you told me it was dirty, so
G D C D
It must be really creepy when your kid is pushin' thirty
G D C D
But you cannot tell me dad that you have never had a whack
G D C D
At the thing that hangs below your belt and bumps into your sack

G D C D
Well it seems last night you caught me spankin' it
G D C D
No use denyin' it, I was really crankin' it
G D C D
Well dry your eyes and don't be sad
G D C [pause]
But I wouldn't use those tissues they've already been-
G D C [pause]
Just because it was your bed, it's not that-
G D C [pause] G D C D
Now daddy daddy please forgive me and talk to me dad
G D C D
Talk to me dad

[outro]

G D C D x2

[ring out on G]
