Jason Eady

Liars And Fools

by Jason Eady
Jason Eady

Biography:

Jason Eady (born 23 January 1975 in Jackson, Mississippi) is an American country music singer and guitarist. He is regarded as an important figure in the subgenre of Texas country music, a form of "classic country" bent upon returning the music to its historic singer-songwriter roots.

On his third and latest album, When the Money’s All Gone, Eady delivers southern gospel stomps, New Orleans soul, and the heartbreaking tide of sin and redemption through his rich baritone voice and a raucous band.

[Chorus]
D G D
If I had to choose between liars and fools,
A D
I'd choose the fools everytime
D G D
Cause liars they live in their own little world,
A D
while the fools lay it all on the line

[Verse]
A D
And if I get burned, I wanna get burned by the fire,
A D
not hiding from the ashes in the trees
G D G
I'd rather stand tall as the fool while the liar
D A D
goes down, still on his knees

[Chorus]
D G D
If I had to choose between liars and fools,
A D
I'd choose the fools everytime
D G D
Cause liars they live in their own little world,
A D
while the fools lay it all on the line

[Verse]
A D
Well I've seen it all from one of those sides
A D
and I watched as it all came undone
G D G
She was a fool for believing my lies
D A D
and now I'm left with the damage I've done

[Chorus]
D G D
If I had to choose between liars and fools,
A D
I'd choose the fools everytime
D G D
Cause liars they live in their own little world,
A G D
while the fools lay it all on the line
