Biografia:
Mazzy Star foi uma banda dream pop / alternativa dos EUA, formada em 1989 a partir das cinzas da banda Opal, que era uma colaboração do guitarrista David Roback (da banda paisley underground dos anos 80 Rain Parade) e da baixista Kendra Smith (dos Dream Syndicate).
Mais tarde, juntou-se-lhes Hope Sandoval, amiga de Smith, como vocalista, e Kendra Smith deixou a banda.
Os Mazzy Star são provavelmente mais conhecidos pela canção Fade Into You

A nice song to use to develop picking/strumming/slide technique.
This little riff is the intro and occurs elsewhere in a similar way. The sliding is done with a slide
but you can do it with finger and pile on the vibrato.
The first G and C are the outro.
Listen for the exact timing and for occurances where it varies in strums and slide.
