Som ácido com guitarras dissonantes, marcado por fortes linhas de baixo e bateria. Esse seria até que um estilo "tradicional" se comparássemos com tudo o que acontecia no pós-punk inglês. O Sex Gang Children é uma daquelas bandas que se diferenciaram pela irreverência em mostrar o lado “escuro” com uma certa ironia através de músicas com letras carregadas de humor negro - não basta entende-las, mas sim senti-las através do tom agudo e histérico dos vocais que parecem realmente de criança, fazendo jus ao nome.
