Biografia:
O grupo “Shalamar” foi uma criação do importante agente de televisão, o americano “Dick Griffey” da “Soul Train”, canal especializado em música negra nos anos 70.
O “Shalamar” contava com “Jody Watley”, nascida em 30 de janeiro de 1959 em “Chicago”, “Jeffrey Daniels”, 24 de Agosto de 1957 e “Gerald Brown”, que um ano mais tarde seria substituído por “Howard Hewett”, nascido em primeiro de outubro de 1955 em “Akron”, “Ohio”.
