Biografia:
Os três integrantes do Friendly Fires Ed Macfarlane (vocalista), Jack Savidge (baterista) e Edd Gibson (guitarrista) se conheceram na escola St Albans. Aos 14 anos de idade eles formaram sua primeira banda, com um som post-hardcore chamada First Day Back, que continuou a existir até eles ingressarem na universidade. Durante esse tempo o vocalista Ed Macfarlane lançou suas próprias músicas, pelas gravadoras de música eletrônicas Skam e Precinct Recordings.
