Biografia:
A história da banda é praticamente uma amostra do cenário gótico londrino da década de 80. Julianne Regan, freelance da revista ZigZag, era fã da banda Gene Loves Jezebel. Uma de suas primeiras matérias foi sobre os gêmeos galeses. O resultado? Ela entrou para a banda como baixistas no ano de 1982.
A parceria, entretanto, durou apenas dez meses. Com o fim da ZigZag, Regan passou a trabalhar em uma livraria e em seu tempo livre, gravava fitas demo, que enviada para o selo 4AD.
