Biografía:
A mediados de los 80 el post-punk empezaba a evolucionar bien hacia nuevos ritmos de caracter más comercial bien hacia lo que después se llamaría Gothic-Rock.
All About Eve comenzaron influenciados por Siouxsie y por Cocteau Twins en 1985, y ese sonido es el que destaca en "D for Desire" su primer single y en las grabaciones de aquella época. Sin embargo el grupo en tan sólo un año empieza a evolucionar y a desarollar un sonido propio, configurado por la adición de un toque folk (o hippy, según opiniones).
