Alborosie (Alberto D'Ascola) é italiano, nasceu na Sicilia. É multiinstrumentista, toca guitarra, baixo, bateria e piano. O ex-membro do Reggae National Tickets, banda de reggae formada por ele aos 15 anos de idade, foi pra Jamaica atraido pela cultura rastafari, e começou a trabalhar também como engenheiro de som e produtor. Trabalhou com diversos artistas como Angie Stone, Les Nubian, Manu Chao e etc.
