Si existe un nombre que ha revolucionado la escena reggae internacional durante el pasado 2007, ha sido el de Alborosie. Este joven cantante italiano, afincado desde hace unos años en Jamaica, ha logrado llevar su música a los charts de todo el mundo. Alberto D'Ascola, más conocido como Alborosie, nació en Sicília en 1977, y pronto destacó por su virtuosidad en el mundo de la música. Formó varios grupos ya de muy joven, siempre buscando las raices de la música negra.
