Yael Naïm, cantora e compositora, nasceu em 1978 em Paris, mas se mudou com sua familia para Ramat Hasharon, Israel, quando tinha quatro anos.
Tornou-se conhecida por dar voz ao anúncio publicitário ao MacBook Air, da Apple Inc. A música utilizada no anúncio, New Soul, foi a primeira música de uma Israelita a ficar num top 10 musical nos EUA.

Nascida na França em 1978 e tendo se mudado para Israel aos 4 anos, Yael Naïm tem dupla nacionalidade, Francesa e Israelita, sendo assim franco-israelita.
