Biografia:
The Maccabees é uma banda de indie rock originária do sul de Londres e com base em Brighton, sul da Inglaterra.
O nome (em português Os Macabeus) foi escolhido abrindo-se a Bíblia aleatoriamente. Embora o nome tenha conotações religiosas, o vocalista Orlando Weeks afirmou que nenhum membro da banda é religioso.
