Biografia:
Jon Jay Christopher Smith é um cantor sueco, vencedor da versão sueca do Swedish Idol em 2010. Nascido em Helsingborg, Suécia, em 29 de abril de 1981, Jay tem ascendência de ingleses. Além de cantar, ele é guitarrista.
Antes de participar do Idol, Jay era membro de uma banda chamada Von Benzo, com a qual lançou apenas um álbum (Von Benzo).
A coronation song "Dreaming People" é o primeiro single de Jay Smith. A música estreiou em 3º lugar nas paradas suecas, mas logo alcançou o 1º lugar ainda na mesma semana de lançamento.
