Biografia:
Coil foi um o grupo de música industrial experimental formado em 1982 por John Balance mais tarde creditado como "Jhonn Balance" e seu parceiro Peter Christopherson, conhecido como "desprezível"(Ex- Throbbing Gristle). Os dois trabalharam juntos em uma série de lançamentos Saldo antes escolheu o nome da bobina, que afirmavam ser inspirados pela onipresença da forma da bobina na natureza. Hoje, Coil continua sendo um dos mais influentes e mais conhecidos grupos de música industrial.
