Biografía:
Se trata de una cantante y compositora estadounidense. Su album debut, titulado Wreck of the Day,salió a la venta en abril de 2006.
Firmó contrato con Columbia Records y cuenta que desde que era muy pequeña soñaba con ser cantante y que se dedica a realizar sus propias composiciones desde que cursaba 5to grado en la escuela.Creció en Glendora, al este de Pasadena. Se crió en una familia de artistas, sus padres son ambos músicos y ella sintió la influencia de Fiona Apple
