Biografía:

Billy Guy, miembro de los Coasters y uno de los mejores barítonos del doo wop y del rhythm and blues de finales de los años 50, nació en Texas el 20 de junio de 1936.

The Coasters comenzó su trayectoria con la publicación del single "Down in Mexico" que en 1956 alcanzó el Top Ten de las listas de éxitos de R&B de Estados Unidos. Este tema fue incluido en la banda sonora de la película Death Proof de Quentin Taratino que es, por cierto, un gran fan de los Coasters.
