Stanley Getz (Filadelfia, Pensilvania, 2 de febrero, 1927 - † Malibu, California, 6 de junio, 1991), Stan Getz, saxofonista estadounidense de jazz.
Considerado como uno de los más importantes tenores del jazz, fue conocido por el sobrenombre de The Sound ("El Sonido") debido a su tono cálido y lírico, apreciable en temas como su versión de la "La Chica de Ipanema". La primera influencia de Getz fue el ligero y suave tono de Lester Young.
