Biografía:
The Radio Dept. es una banda sueca formada por Johan Duncanson (guitarra), Martin Larsson (guitarra) y Daniel Tjader (teclados). El sonido del grupo suele asociarse con géneros como dream pop, indie pop, shoegaze o twee pop. Elin Almered y Johan Duncanson, compañeros de escuela, formaron el grupo el año 1995 en Lund, tomando el nombre su nombre de una estacion de servicio convertida en un improvisado taller de radios, cuyo cartel simplemente decia "Radioavdelningen" ("The Radio Department" en sueco).
