Sam Roberts es una de las referencias más interesantes dentro del panorama alternativo en Canadá. Aclamados tanto por la prensa musical como por el público en general, los premios que han recibido por parte de los medios y la industria discográfica canadiense asi como las ventas de sus discos les avalan. Tras dar el salto a USA, los de Montreal se desplazaron a Europa, donde dieron a conocerse con la publicación de su disco “Chemical City”. Su nuevo cd se llama "Love at the end of the world".
