Biografía:
Filter es una banda de metal industrial creada en 1993 por el ex guitarrista de Nine Inch Nails, Richard Patrick y Brian Liesegang. Su música actual es básicamente metal alternativo con leves tintes de electrónica. En sus inicios se sentía claramente la influencia de Nine Inch Nails, su sonido era mucho más oscuro y más orientado al rock industrial; pero con el tiempo se han alejado de esta tendencia apuntando más hacia el metal.
Liesegang abandonó Filter en 1997 argumentando diferencias creativas con Patrick.
