David Francey - Banks Of The Seaway

INTRO: C

G C G
I took my love down to Summerstown
C F C G
On the banks of the Seaway where the big ships go by
C F C G
On the banks of the Saint Lawrence River we lie
C G C
On the banks of that river so wide

G C G
And when we hear the Winter turn
C F
In the sound of the blackbirds cry
C F C G
I'll take my love down to Summerstown
C F C G
On the banks of the Seaway where the big ships go by
C F C G
On the banks of the Saint Lawrence River we lie
C G C
On the banks of that river so wide

G C G
And when we see the Springtime turn
C F
To a cloud in the summer sky
C F C G
I'll take my love down to Summerstown
C F C G
On the banks of the Seaway where the big ships go by
C F C G
On the banks of the Saint Lawrence River we lie
C G C
On the banks of that river so wide

G C G
And when we feel the Summer turn
C F
On the wind that the leaves will fly
C F C G
I'll take my love down to Summerstown
C F C G
On the banks of the Seaway where the big ships go by
C F C G
On the banks of the Saint Lawrence River we lie
C G C
On the banks of that river so wide

G C G
And when we hear the Autumn turn
C F
In the Northern winds cold cry
C F C G
I'll take my love down to Summerstown
C F C G
On the banks of the Seaway where the big ships go by
C F C G
On the banks of the Saint Lawrence River we lie
C G C
On the banks of that river so wide
