Connie Smith (nascida como Constance June Meador em 14 de agosto de 1941, é uma cantora e compositora norte-americana de música country.
Começou sua carreita em 1963 depois de ganhar um concurso de novos talentos em Columbus, Ohio e isso chamou a atenção do compositor Bill Anderson.
Depois de gravar várias demos para Anderson, em 1964 foi chamada para gravar pela RCA Victor Records.
