When You're Number Isn't Up
Album: Bubblegum
Tuning: Flat Tuned E Standard

Intro B - D#

B D#
Did you call for the night porter?
B D#
You smell the blood running warm
B D#
I stay close to this frozen border,
B D#
so close I can hit it with a stone
B D#
Now something crawls right up my spine
C# B
That I always got to follow
D#
Turn out the lights
C# B
Don't see me drawn and hollow
D#
Just blood running warm
A#
No one needs to tell you that
C# B
There's no use for ya here anymore
C#
And where are your friends?
D#
They've gone away
C# D#
It's a different world, they left you to this
C#
To janitor
D#
The emptiness
B D#
So let's get it on
B D#
When the sun is finally going down,
C# B
and you're overdue to follow
D#
But you're still above the ground
C# B
What ya got comin' is hard to swallow
D#
Like blood running warm
B D#
Did they call for the night porter
B D#
And smell the blood, blood running warm
B D#
Well I've been waitin at this frozen border,
B D#
so close you could hit it with a stone
