Biography:
Nacido en Jerusalén, Avishai Cohen, ya estudiaba piano en Israel a los diez años. Tiempo mas tarde se trasladó a los Estados Unidos y se instala en St. Louis (Missouri) estudiando piano y bajo eléctrico. La música de Jaco Pastorius y Stanley Clarke, le cambiaron la vida y lo introdujeron el el mundo del jazz.
Regresó a Israel para estudiar en la prestigiosa academia "Music & Art. Academy" con el prestigioso profesor Michael Klinghoffer, quien le introdujo en el mundo de la música clásica.
