Biography:

Alexander Ebert is an American singer-songwriter born May 12, 1978
is known for being the lead singer and songwriter of the American band
Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros
with which he composed three studio albums:
Up from Below (2009)
Here (2012)
Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros (2013)

Alexander Ebert released a solo album in 2011 titled "Alexander"
In 2013 he composed the soundtrack for the movie "All is Lost" starring Robert Redford.

I came up with a very easy solo that consists out of 8 small segments:

Repeat it once, then for the third time you only play the first 2(of 8) little segment and end with the 2's
on the e-string of the second segment before you start with the normal chords again.

-If you don't want to play the solo during this bit, I suggest these chords:

G - D - Em - C or G (C sounds to high during the solo in my opinion,
so I play the G without my pink on the top e-snare).

-When you do the D and lift your ring-finger from the e-snare,
you will notice that it basically sounds like the solo as well.

-Strum pattern changes during this part,
but if you mess around with the last C or G you will find a way that suits you best.
