[Intro]
C G C

[Verse]
C F C
Love is a bird I can’t even see
Am G F C
Even in the darkness right in front of me
G C F Am
And you were shining bright through the window in the mornin'
G
There's a tone
C F G
That rises gently
C
With a wind

C F C
You can be free, sometimes brave
Am G F
Sometimes all you want to do is run away
F G C
I don't need the curse
F Am
The hurt is much too real
G
Are we even lost
C F
I'm silently waiting
G C F
For how our room will be painted

F G F C G
I know, it’s hard, this time
F G F C G
I know, you know this time

[Instrumental]
C F Am G F C
F G C F Am G C F
C G C F

C F C
How could I wait 'til you recognized me?
Am G F
When you were there inside my dreams
F G C
No, you don't have to go
F Am
I want to make you stay
G C F
Goodbye, anyway
G C F
I heard the news today

[Verse 4]
G C F
I've been up since the break of dawn
G C F
I lost my mind today
G C F
I'm at the sea, and I can hear the trains
G
Winds of change, so new
C
Blow right through me
F
Blowin' back through you
G C F
Then pull you into the light, yeah

G C F
(x solo)

G C F
Now I'm home, and it's clear you're gone
G
I lost my edge today
C F
Singin all my songs in a pouring rain
G C
Pushed and pulled apart at the seams
F
I can feel the chains
G
The winds of love blow few
C
Let it move through me
F
Let it blow through you
G C F
And take you into the night, yeah

[Outro]
G C F
C
