The War on Drugs is an American indie rock band from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Band member Adam Granduciel (born Adam Granofsky in Dover, Massachusetts) moved from Oakland, California to Philadelphia in 2003, where he met Kurt Vile and began playing music with him. I keep raising up my
C G
It's not some feeling I can shake
C          G
There's no way

Through a lonely hall

But the hole in my head
C Em
Emptied out into a love
C G
Came pouring out into a life

[Chorus]
G
Hold it up into the light
Am
Once it's right between your eyes
F
You'll see it's right here
G
Look, it's glowing
A
It's not some feeling I can break
