The War On Drugs

Biography:

The War on Drugs is an American indie rock band from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Band member Adam Granduciel (born Adam Granofsky in Dover, Massachusetts) moved from Oakland, California to Philadelphia in 2003, where he met Kurt Vile and began playing music with him. 1 and 2 and 3 and 4 and....

A B
I've been tryin' to pull it through
A B
This rattle and roll
A B
Spent some time in a common place
A B
And everyone...
A B
Who'd been burned like a thousand times
A C# B
Just wastin' away
A C# B
Then arranged for the better man
A C# B
To take them away
A C# B x2
A B
Fell in line with the raconteurs
A B
From head to toe
A B
Fell in line with the raconteurs
A C# B
From layin' low
A C# B
In the darkest point of night
A C# B
I want you
A C# B
To be here like before
A C# B
Comin' Through
A C# B x3
A B
Well...Goin' back to the root of all my beliefs
A B
Saying all that is low
A B
Spent some time in a common place
A B
Any where to go
A C# B
That's the sound of a million ships
A C# B
Just sailin' away
A C# B
Yeah...it can feel like before
A C# B
Comin' through either way
A C# B
Let it feel like before
A C# B
Comin' through either way

A C# B x4 more or so
