[Intro]
E
(With some Hammerons on the 2nd Fret A String)

[Verse]
E
I can't stand to see
A
A good man go to waste
E
One who never combs his hair
B7
Or shaves his face

E
A man who leans on wine
A
Over love that's told a lie
E B7
Oh, it tears me up to see
E
A grown man cry

E A
So I never go around mirrors
E
I can't stand to see me
B7
Without you by my side
E A
No, I never go around mirrors
E B7 E
Because I gotta heartache to hide

[Instrumental]
E----A----E----B7----E----A----E--B7--E

[Verse]
E
I can't stand to be
A
Where heartaches hang around
E B7
It's so easy for the blues to get me down
E
To see a grown man crawl
A
Is more than I can stand
E B7 E
And I look into the eyes of half a man

E A
So I never go around mirrors
E
I can't stand to see me
B7
Without you by my side

E A
No, I never go around mirrors
E B7 E
Because I gotta heartache to hide

E B7
Lord it tears me up to see
E
A grown man cry

E B7
Lord it tears me up to see
A
A grown man cry

(End with a walk down to E 3rd Fret, 2nd Fret, open E String)
