Verse 1:
Gadd9
I was born my Papa's son

C F
A wandering eye and a smokin' gun

Gadd9
Now some of you who've lived through me

C F
lock me up and throw away the key

Gadd9
Or just find a place to hide away

C F Gadd9
And hope that I'll just go away, huh

Chorus:
Em D
I feel alright

C Gadd9
I feel alright tonight

Em
I feel alright

C Gadd9
I feel alright tonight

Verse 2:
Gadd9
Now I bring you precious contraband

C F
And ancient tales from distant lands

Gadd9
Conquerors and concubines

C F
And conjurers from darker times

Gadd9
Of betrayal and conspiracy

C F Gadd9
Sacrilage and heresy

Chorus:
Em D
I feel alright

C Gadd9
I feel alright tonight

Em
I feel alright

C Gadd9
I feel alright tonight

Harmonica solo:
G C F C G C F C Gadd9

Verse 3:
Gadd9
I've got everything you want and need

C F
Your darkest fear your fondest dreams

Gadd9
Ask you questions tell you lies

C F
Criticize and sympathize

Gadd9
Yeah but, be careful what you wish for friend

C F Gadd9
'Cause I've been to Hell and now I'm back again

Chorus:
Em D
I feel alright

C Gadd9
I feel alright tonight

Em
I feel alright

C Gadd9
I feel alright tonight

Gadd9
I feel alright

Gadd9
Feel alright
