This is a surprisingly simple, yet amazingly beautiful song by my favorite band, Paper Route.
Happy playing!-Blurryfvce

[Intro]

C F Am Am/G F

[Verse 1]
C F
Turn in my heart, Burning a memory in time
Am Am/G F
I know that it's my fault, Trading out trouble with pride

[Pre-Chorus]
C F
Raise your arms and hold balconies of grace
Am Am/G F
Raise your arms and hold what you can't replace

[Chorus]
C
It's the simple things that I can't get right
F
It's the hunting heart trying to survive
Am
And for every wound there's a hill to climb
F
Can we reach that high, reach that high

[Verse 2]
C F
You don't have to speak, You can just sleep while I drive
Am Am/G F
And if I'm in your dreams, Am I what you want to find?

Raise your arms and hold balconies of grace
Am Am/G F
Raise your arms and hold what you can't replace, No!

[Chorus]
C
It's the simple things that I can't get right
