Here It Comes

by Longwave
Longwave

Biography:

Since 1999, Longwave has been one of the New York City’s leading exports. After the success of Endsongs , their 2000 independent release, the band signed with RCA Records and began work with producer Dave Fridmann, known for his efforts with the Flaming Lips and Mercury Rev. The resulting album, The Strangest Things, led to critical raves and tours across all parts of this earth with the likes of The Strokes and The Vines.

C A (x2)

C Am
Something's coming over me

C Am
I'm so tired I can't see

Dm Am
The face is all the same

C Am
When you're wasted

C Am
Everything is like the last

C Am
At night you're always moving fast

Dm Am C
But the colors in the end are amazing

Dm Am
And your heart beats so slow

Dm Em
All the ways that come and go

Dm Am Dm
All alone in the back and now here it comes

C A (x2)

C Am
Its funny how things they change

C Am
Even though I know its strange

Dm Am C Am
Its hard to hold on to the things that leave you

C Am
Promises that you make

C Am
Always turning to mistakes

Dm Am C
And soon enough they learn not to believe you

Dm Am
And your heart beats so slow

Dm Em
All the ways that come and go

Dm Am Dm
All alone in the back having too much fun

Am Dm Em
When the words all make no sense and you cannot comprehend

Dm Am Dm
All alone in the back and now here it comes

Here it comes

C A (x8)

C Am
Now there's nobody here tonight

C Am
To put you in a better light

Dm Am C Am
So if you gotta go no one would blame you

C Am
The ones we try to please the most

C Am
They leave us empty as a ghost

Dm Am C
But if they wonder who no one would name you

Dm Am
And your heart beats so slow

Dm Em
All the ways that come and go

Dm Am Dm
All alone in the back having too much fun

Am Dm Em
When the words all make no sense and you cannot comprehend

Dm Am Dm
All alone in the back and now here it comes
