WOULD I STILL HAVE YOU
written by Kent "Lobo" LaVoie

[G] When I was young I had a dream
That I would meet someone like you
And we would [C] have a happy [G] home
If the [C] world would leave us [G] alone

[G] So it came to pass it all came true
You needed me like I needed you
But the [C] world kept moving [G] on
And our [C] life was changed by a [G] song

soc
[C] Sometimes I wonder and I[G] worry too
If [C] I did not know how to sing
Would I [D] still have [Bm] you?

[C] That's the time I wished
I'd [D] never bought that [G] first guitar
I'd be [C] out somewhere in
[D] Oklahoma[G] Fixing cars
But [C] maybe after my [D] hard working
[G] Day was through
[Am] I'D still [D7] have [G] you
Eoc

[G] It's hard to have loving on your mind
With people lining up for it all the time
And the world I [C] loved went floating [G] by
How did I [C] miss the hurt in your [G] eyes

soc
[C] Sometimes I wonder and I[G] worry too
If [C] I did not know how to sing
Would I [D] still have [Bm] you?

[C] That's the time I wished
I'd [D] never bought that [G] first guitar
I'd be [C] out somewhere in
[D] Oklahoma[G] Fixing cars
But [C] maybe after my [D] hard working
[G] Day was through
[Am] I'D still [D7] have [G] you
eoc
