Biography:

Larry Hosford, born Salinas, California 1943, died 2016, was a singer-songwriter in the genres of Americana and country western music.
Hosford was a prolific writer of songs and occasionally compared with the style and twang of Willie Nelson. Hosford injected humor and endearing local references of his life in the Salinas Valley and Central Coast. He was proud of his Oklahoma roots, and of his hometown. Perhaps his best-known tune to locals is “Salinas.
