Album: The Woman I Am
Capo on 1

[Intro]
D A G D A G

Bm A G
We can go somewhere where you gotta get all dressed up
D A G
Or throw on some jeans and go somewhere and get messed up
Bm A G
Gotta be something we can get into downtown
D A G
Oh, one of them nights when the neon lights never go down

[Chorus]
D A
We can go someplace where there ain't nobody a- round us
G A
Take a ride out there where the stars look a little more crowded
Bm A G
Come on now, tell me what you think a- bout, yeah
Em G
We can go anywhere 'long as it's somewhere
A D Bm G
A little closer to nowhere

Bm A G
We can park on a hill and roll it on down to the riverside
D A G
Sit and watch the moon shine on the water like a streetlight
Bm A G
We can top off the tank and head on down some highway
D A G
Or boy we can get just as lost here in this driveway

[Chorus]
D A
We can go someplace where there ain't nobody a- round us
G A
Take a ride out there where the stars look a little more crowded
Bm A G
Come on now, tell me what you think a- bout, yeah
Em G
We can go anywhere 'long as it's somewhere
A G
A little closer to nowhere

[Bridge]
D
No crowd, no traffic, where all we're getting is radio static
G
Anywhere you wanna go, anywhere we're here alone ---

D A
Someplace where the stars look a little more crowded
G A
Come on now, tell me what you think a- bout, yeah
Em G
We can go anywhere 'long as it's somewhere
D A G D A G
A little closer to nowhere, a little closer to nowhere

[Outro]
D A G
We can go someplace where there ain't nobody a- round us
D A G
A little closer to nowhere
