E B
When the twin towers fell and it all went to hell

A E
I knew you'd believe in me soon

E B
It's what tore us apart, you perfected the art

A E
Of making it all about you

B
But I can read your fortune

A F#
Just lay out your palm, palm

B
Whatever you're avoiding

A F# B
will greet you at the dawn, dawn

E B A
Because it's the new you every day

E A
Putting on a different face

E
And the farther that you run from me

A
How will you overcome it

E B A
It's the new you every day

E
And you struggle with sobriety

B
Dreams of known variety

A E
Listening to kill 'em all

E B
Tend for high society, social anxiety

A E
We missed you at the head bang's ball

B
But I can read your fortune

A F#
Just lay out your palm,palm

B
Whoever you're avoiding

A F# B
They will all sing along,along

E B A
Because it's the new you every day

E A
Putting on a different face

E
And the farther that you run from it

A
How will you overcome it

E B A
It's the new you every day

Abm Dbm
Where you come from

F#m B
Gets the best of you

Break

E B A E B A E B A

E B A
Because it's the new you every day

E A
And when I loved you, I used to say

E
The farther that we run from it

A
How will we overcome it

E B A
It's the new you every day
