Capo 3

The hammer on's are on the G's to D's and D's to Em's and then C's
to G's and G's to D's. If that makes sense. In the intro, start strumming the G chord
when he says "two, two, three" on the 2nd "two". Strum down, up, down, up and then go
into the intro.

G
One two three, two two three

Intro: G D Em C G D x2

G D Em
Is gravity the same for you?

C G D
Or have you fallen deeply too?

G D Em
Into the light of a dream

C G D
Like unison falling into harmony

G D
The only thing between us

Em
Is a breath of air

C G
A river of fear

D
A ship we can't steer

G D
A curtain of rain

Em
A layer of skin

C G
A determined stare

D
A dare

C-G-C-G-Em-G-D
C-G-C-G-Em-G-D

G D
Sweep across the floor

Em
Like the wind through the islands

C G
Step once, turn twice
D
And move like the current

G D
I will try to know you

Em
Though you defy my grasp

C G
Your beauty is static

D
But steady and fast

G D
Spin once and turn twice

Em
And fall in with the band
C G D
In unison falling into harmony

G D Em
I love the way that your lights come on

C G D
When you've been lit with some happy thought

G D
So save up your tears

Em
For the next time it rains

C G
And flow across the floor

D
Like the unstoppable river

G D
I will try to know you

Em
Though you defy my grasp

C G
Your beauty is gentle

D (let ring)
But forceful and fast
