Intro D

A Em D A
The line runs through like a train in a book
A G D A
Or meters underwater ending with a hook
A Em D A
It sways in the air when there's wind enough to lift
A G D A
The fine ones are boundaries when There is a rift

D Bm
I'm just pulling on a line on a line
G D
I'm just pulling on a line
D Bm
I'm just pulling on a line on a line
G D
Sometimes it pulls on me

A Em D A
The line it inks across the freshly fallen snow
A G D A
Where only those embracing coldness would go
A Em D A
It whistles and it whispers and sometimes it howls
A G D A
It sings to me sweetly from the trees and in vowels

D Bm
I'm just pulling on a line on a line
G D
I'm just pulling on a line
D Bm
I'm just pulling on a line on a line
G D
Sometimes it pulls on me

A Em D A
The line it writes itself across the dark sky
A G D A
In the electric flushes ending with a sigh
A Em D A
It weaves itself into a fabric so true
A G D A
and flows just like the river graceful and blue

D Bm
I'm just pulling on a line on a line
G D
I'm just pulling on a line
D Bm
I'm just pulling on a line on a line
G D
Sometimes it pulls on me
