Intro: [D] [G] [D] [A] x2

Well, out through the narrows, we'll [G] sail for wide [D] ocean,
[A] Leaving the harbour for [G] forces un- [D] seen;
[A] Anxiously waiting for the [G] big catch to [D] follow,
And the [A] big thrash that churns up the [G] sea.

Chours:
[D]* Sail on Theresa Maria,
[G] Bring home the sailors and the [D] catch in your [A] hold;
[D]* Trust in hands there to guide you,
[G] Hold up your end now and [D] cut through the [A] sea;
I've faith in the captain and [G] thee. [D] [A]

The cold North Atlantic will [G] gladly destroy [D] you,
She'll [A] whip up her winds, and her [G] waters a- [D] boil;
She'll [A] call on the sea witch to [G] rip off our [D] hatches,
And [A] sweep us all off to the [G] sea.

Chours:
[D]* Sail on Theresa Maria,
[G] Bring home the sailors and the [D] catch in your [A] hold;
[D]* Trust in hands there to guide you,
[G] Hold up your end now and [D] cut through the [A] sea;
I've faith in the captain and [G] thee. [D] [A]

Interlude: [A] [G] [D] [A] [G] [D]
[D] [A] [G] [D] [A]

The sea witch would cackle as she [G] sends ice to blind [D] you,
She'll [A] call on the water to [G] sink you right [D] down;
And [A] then from out of her pocket she'll [G] pull out her [D] mitre,
And [A] dance on our heads till we [G] drown.

Chours:
[D]* Sail on Theresa Maria,
[G] Bring home the sailors and the [D] catch in your [A] hold;
[D]* Trust in hands there to guide you,
[G] Hold up your end now and [D] cut through the [A] sea;
I've faith in the captain and [G] thee. Dear Lord!

Chours:
[D]* Sail on Theresa Maria,
[G] Bring home the sailors and the [D] catch in your [A] hold;
[D]* Trust in hands there to guide you,
[G] Hold up your end now and [D] cut through the [A] sea;
I've faith in the captain and [G] thee.

Outro: [D] [G] [D] [A] [D] [G]
[G] [D]
