G Cadd9
Dear you know I fear Im growing weak
G Cadd9
I left you in the dark for a bottle and cheap company
Em D/F# Cadd9
You took me home, gave me a bed or half of yours at least
Em D/F# Cadd9
And my god that was good enough for me

Em Cadd9 G D/F#
Ill keep holding on because we are young and we are free
Em Cadd9 G
And my god thats still good enough for me
Em Cadd9 G D/F#
Ill keep holding on because we are young and we are free
Em Cadd9 G
And my god thats still good enough for me

G Cadd9
We'd sleep until the evening sun had burnt
G Cadd9
And lay awake until the neighbours left next morning for work
Em D/F# Cadd9
The first time that we slept I felt my life rewind
Em D/F# Cadd9
And a nervous child replaced the ageing fool I left behind

D/F# Em Cadd9
You put your faith in me and I let you down
You put your faith in me and I let you down
You put your faith in me and I let you down
But I feel so sure, I feel so-

Instrumental and continues until end of song: Em, Cadd9, G, D/F#
