Biografia:
O Edguy surgiu em 1992 na Alemanha, quando o promissor músico Tobias Sammet se cansou de apenas fazer covers de bandas como Kiss e AC/DC. Baixista, tecladista e vocalista, o jovem rapaz decidiu formar uma banda para fazer composições próprias e chamou para a sua primeira formação Jens Ludwig (guitarra), Dirk Sauer (guitarra) e Dominik Storch (bateria). Com a banda e as composições já prontas resolveram gravar uma demo. O resultado acabou em duas demo-tapes: "Evil-minded" e "Children Of Steel".
