Biografia:
Delain é uma banda de Metal Sinfônico formada em Zwolle, Holanda, no ano de 2002, pelo ex-tecladista do Within Temptation, Martijn Westerholt, com Charlotte Wessels nos vocais, Ronald Landa na guitarra, Rob van der Loo no baixo e Sander Zoer na bateria.
No ano de 2001, Martijn Westerholt descobriu que sofria da doença de Pfeiffer e saiu da banda Within Temptation. Assim que melhorou o bastante, em 2002, começou a compor, para passar o tempo.
