dc Talk é formado por Toby McKeehan, Michael Tait e Kevin Max.
Os três se conheceram enquanto eram jovens na Liberty University em Lynchburg, Virginia. Eles formaram a banda dc Talk (que significa "decent Christian talk" ou "conversa Cristã decente") e, até o ano 2000, passaram dez sólidos anos juntos, se apresentando por todo o mundo, gravando 6 albuns, e ganhando muitos albuns, incluindo 4 Grammy Awards.
