Biografia:
O Daft Punk foi um dos principais projetos de house music formado em Paris. Foi criado por Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo e Thomas Bangalter. O nome Daft Punk foi inspirado em um artigo depreciativo, publicado na revista britânica Melody Maker que classificara o primeiro trabalho do duo, gravado em 1992 no estúdio Duophonic, pertencente ao Stereolab - na época, o duo se chamava Darlin' e fazia um rock ao estilo The Beach Boys - como "um bando de punks bobos" ("a bunch of daft punk").
