O nome Chiodos vem dos irmãos Chiodos, Diretores de filmes B, em seu currículo está a hilariante e horripilante obra "Os Palhaços Assassinos do Espaço Sideral", mas Chiodos, uma Banda de Davison-Mi, formada pelos integrantes Craig, Brad, Pat, Matt, Derrick e Jason vem se destacando com um estilo bem diferenciado, com a mistura de letras melódicas, berros rasgados, com uma batida rapida e harmoniosa! A banda se auto denomina com o estilo Screamo em sites, e algumas pegadas de Post Hardcore, e até sendo Psicodélico em algumas musicas.
