Biografia:
Blackfield é um projecto resultante da união do músico Israelita Aviv Geffen com o produtor Inglês Steven Wilson. A ideia surgiu devido a uma amizade próxima e interesse artístico semelhante.
Aviv, um artista com uma sucedida carreira a solo, descobriu a banda de Steven, Porcupine Tree, nos anos 90 e seguiu o seu desempenho por anos. Em 2000, convidou o grupo para actuar em Israel e encontrou-se com Wilson em Londres para discutir a ideia de um projecto
