Biografia:
Black Label Society é uma banda de Heavy/Sludge/Southern Metal criada em Los Angeles, EUA por Zakk Wylde, ex-guitarrista de Ozzy Osbourne.
A banda teve início em maio de 1998, quando Zakk Wylde chama o baterista Phil Ondich recomendado por seu amigo Nick Catanese para tocar com ele em um concerto solo na Itália
Zakk e Phil decidiram chamar a banda de "Hell's Kitchen" (bairro de periferia de Nova York) e o seu primeiro álbum de "Sonic Brewery".
