Biografia:
Beastie Boys foi um grupo de rap rock americano de Nova York formado no ano de 1979. Os seus membros são Michael Diamond (Mike D), Adam Yauch (MCA) e Adam Horovitz (Ad-rock). Todos os três membros são de ascendência judaica. Acompanhando estes 3 membros encontra-se Michael Schwartz (Mix Master Mike) - o actual DJ (substituindo Wendell Fite - DJ Hurricane)
Os Beastie Boys foram a primeira banda rap de brancos bem sucedida e um dos poucos projectos dos primeiros tempos do hip-hop que, ainda, granjeiam grande sucesso.
